Chocolate Models
What follows is the first of our definitive articles on the topic of chocolate. This first article looks at the Chocolate Models that are used to produce the fancy and incredibly tempting chocolate confectionery that so delight children and adults alike.
Chocolate Models
Chocolate models are essentially the shaped moulds that are used to create different shaped chocolate confectinery pieces, from the high quality fancy chocolate designs found in exclusive boxes of chocolates from Belgium and Switzerland, to the many children's character chocolate candies that are so enjoyed by so many.
Included in this genre are the chocolate models responsible for creating seasonal chocolate treats such as Easter bunnies and Easter rabbit shaped chocolates. There are the unmistakable shapes of the jolly and rotund Father Christmas, or Santa Clause as he is ever more popularly becoming known. Included in that particular season's collection can be found chocolate models that create Santa's reindeer, his helper elves and angels. There are also chocolate models for creating subsidiary Christmas chocolate shapes such as star shapes, Christmas tree shapes and of course the Christmas tree decorations covered in coloured silver foil that adorn every family's Christmas tree during this festive season.
Another batch of seasonal creations made with specialised chocolate models include Hallowe'en's chocolate witches, pumpkins, spiders and snakes, as well as all the other accompanying delights created with special chocolate models.
One of the longer known uses of chocolate models has neem in the creation of chocolate coins similarly wrapped in silver of gold foil and sold in open weave bags to eager children that go back many decades.
